    Emus:

Spring of 2024, we decided to expand our farm! We now have a rare white female emu and a blonde male emu! We will also be adding a standard male emu possibly next year! We will be offering emu hatching eggs and babies once they are ready. Our guess would be spring of 2026!

  • FAQ

Are you NPIP & AI Certified?

    Yes! NPIP 52-391

Do you vaccinate silkies for Mareks?

No, we feel it's better to breed hardy birds that can fight the virus off. Vaccinating only helps to perpetuate the nastier strains of the virus. Most flocks have it but the stronger birds fight it off and never have an issue!

Who's bloodline is in your silkies?

I have been breeding & raising silkies for over 10 years. I am extremely grateful for the breeders and exhibitors who helped me get started and guided me to where I am today. So, with that being said, I have April’s Silkies bloodline!

Do you breed your silkies by variety?

Yes! We have 10+ silkie breeding pens to keep the varieties separate and to breed correctly.

Do you breed showgirls, frizzles, or satins in your silkies?

No, we breed bearded silkies to the standard of perfection.

    Do you sell hatching eggs?

No, but if I decide to, I will post them on my facebook farm page.

Do you have any pullets or hens available?

I rarely sell a pullet/hen without a cockerel/roo. I normally sell silkies in pairs (male/female) or trios (male/female/female) when they are available. Available birds will be posted on April’s Silkies Facebook page.
